“Under the current conditions, the countering sanctions pressure are of particular relevance and require clear and coordinated actions from us aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of the national economies of the Commonwealth countries,” the Minister noted. “Strengthening cooperation in the power sector is the most important tool for achieving this strategic goal.”
According to Viktor Karankevich, the Electric Power Council is an effective platform for developing common approaches to the energy policy of the Association states. Every year its format is being improved, the spheres of interaction between the CIS countries in the electric power industry are expanding. “Our cooperation within the council has great potential, and we must use it to the maximum,” he summed up.
