The meeting is attended by the Head of the Department of International Cooperation, Personnel Training and Information Support of the Department of Nuclear Energy of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Belarus Olga Kozlovich, the Head of the Directorate of Operation and Repair of NPPs of State Production Association “Belenergo” Yuri Gaidak, the General Director of State Enterprise “Belarusian NPP” Sergei Bobovich, and heads of specialists of CJSC “Paks-2” and Belarusian NPP.
Opening the event, the General Director of Belarusian NPP Sergei Bobovich, introduced his foreign colleagues to the structure of the country's energy system and spoke about the place and importance of the nuclear power plant in it.
On the first day of work, the participants of the meeting discussed current issues of the construction of the NPP. During the exchange of opinions, special attention was paid to issues of quality assurance during construction and installation works and operation of the nuclear power plant.
Belarusian specialists shared their experience in NPP construction, interaction with the general contractor and regulator, licensing activities, equipment procurement and other issues that aroused interest among Hungarian specialists.
In the following days of the expert group's work, the discussion of key issues regarding the construction of the nuclear power plant will continue.
Hungarian specialists, accompanied by their Belarusian colleagues, will visit the production base and other facilities of Belarusian NPP.
