The leader of the regional deputy corps is not visiting Belarusian NPP for the first time and is already familiar with the basic principles of the nuclear power plant and its safety. This time, Elena Pasyuta's interest was focused on issues related to the conditions for the social and professional development of the enterprise's employees, as well as the impact of the key production facility of the region on the development of the region as a whole. A separate topic for discussion was the formation of the enterprise's personnel reserve and the training of the plant's personnel.
"For me, as a deputy, it is important to know that all conditions for a quality life have been created for people in the regions. Having visited Belarusian NPP today, I see that the working and living conditions created at the enterprise for the plant's personnel are among the best in the country. The construction of a nuclear power plant in Belarus is an absolute achievement of the last decade. Thanks to the decision of the Head of State to build a nuclear power plant, a new industry has appeared in the country – nuclear energy. And these are new areas for development, new technologies and jobs. We have something to be proud of. We want to increase it and not lose it. Therefore, on the eve of the presidential elections, I hope that our people will come to the polling stations and make the right choice."
