The event began with a short rally, which took place at the monument to the soldiers-liberators in Ostrovets. At the end of the working day, numerous participants of the rally came here: representatives of organizations and enterprises of the city, members of public associations, residents and guests of Ostrovets.
After laying flowers at the monument, a car column, consisting of dozens of cars decorated with the state flags of the Republic of Belarus, flags of Ostrovets, public associations, enterprises, began to move along the streets of the city.
The final point of the route was the central square of agricultural town Sola. At the appointed time, the participants of the event from Smorgon and Ostrovets regions met here.
The ceremonial event was completed by a concert of cultural workers of neighboring regions.
