The first vice-rector of BNTU Georgy Vershina and the head of the Department of Thermal Power Plants of the University Nikolai Karnitskiy also took part in the study trip to the nuclear power plant. The guests of the enterprise were met by Deputy General Director for General Issues Valery Senyut.
BNTU is the country's leading technical university and the main supplier of personnel for Belarusian nuclear power plant. Many employees of the enterprise at one time graduated from the Polytech-BNTU and today successfully work in various positions, including managerial ones, at the first Belarusian nuclear power plant.
So, several employees of the NPP training center at once told the rector and his colleagues about personnel training.
Former graduate of the university, and now the head of the turbine shop Dmitry Krivin gave a meaningful tour of his department for the guests.
Representatives of the university also visited the building of the gas-insulated switchgear (GIS-330 kV) and the demonstration building of the UTC.
