The license for the operation of the first power unit of BelNPP was issued

The Board of the Ministry of Emergency Situations made a decision to amend the license of Belarusian NPP for the right to carry out activities in the field of the use of atomic energy, allowing the commencement of commercial operation of the first power unit.

The license for the operation of the first power unit of BelNPP was issued

The decision is based on the conclusion of Gosatomnadzor, the positive results of the examination of the documents justifying the safety, and the assessment of the applicant's compliance with the licensing requirements and conditions.

The safety examination was carried out by the Joint Institute for Energy and Nuclear Research "Sosny" of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus according to the technical assignment of Gosatomnadzor, the conformity assessment was carried out directly by Gosatomnadzor.
