This school is remarkable not only for its "age" - it was opened only last year and it is the youngest educational institution in the city of power engineers - but also for the fact that it opened a specialized "atomic" class, where physics and mathematics cycle are studied in depth required for admission to the specialties of the nuclear power profile.
Therefore, it is not surprising that the lecture on the safety and reliability of Belarusian NPP aroused keen interest among the students. There is more that the parents of many of the students work at the construction of the nuclear power plant and in the state enterprise "Belarusian NPP".
During the lecture, the students got acquainted with the project of the nuclear power plant, the location and purpose of the main facilities, the principle of operation and safety systems of the nuclear power plant, saw archival photos of the construction of Belarusian NPP, learned about where specialists for nuclear power are trained, and also received answers to their questions.
