No incidents have happened during construction and installation work at the construction site of the Belarusian nuclear power plant. The Belarusian Energy Ministry made the statement as a comment about the fact that the State Security Department of Lithuania is looking into reports about an accident that allegedly happened at the construction site last week, BelTA has learned.
The Energy Ministry website reads: “In view of this the state enterprise Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant would like to report that the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant proceeds on schedule. No incidents happened in the course of construction and installation work in the specified period.”
The quality of construction and installation work at the construction site of the Belarusian nuclear power plant is overseen in accordance with the approved regulations, underlined representatives of the Energy Ministry.
