Sergei Bobovich told young employees of Belaruskali about how the decision to build the first Belarusian nuclear power plant was made and the key role played by President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Particular emphasis in communication with the company's guests was placed on the selection of the most modern and safe project, as well as the general contractor for the construction of Belarusian NPP: State Corporation “Rosatom”.
The nuclear power plant's CEO introduced young potash employees to safe and environmentally friendly nuclear energy technologies and gave a brief overview of the history of nuclear energy.
Sergei Bobovich also emphasized the importance of intersectoral youth cooperation and noted that it is young specialists who will develop the industrial and energy potential of sovereign Belarus.
The guests were particularly interested in a tour of the nuclear power plant's training center, where Belarusian NPP personnel are trained. The full-scale simulator of the power unit's control panel left a strong impression on the guests. Here, the delegation members were able to witness firsthand how personnel skills are developed and how complex technological processes are managed.
The final part of the visit was a dialogue session entitled "Youth of Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant. Development Prospects." Violetta Alekseevets, a specialist in the ideological work group, and young employees of JSC “Belaruskali” discussed modern approaches to implementing state youth policy at enterprises. The dialogue was lively and open.
