For outstanding achievements in studies, sports, and creativity, the children and their parents received certificates of honor from the hands of the General Director of Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant, Sergei Bobovich, and memorable souvenirs from the primary trade union organization.
In a personal conversation, Sergey Bobovich congratulated the students on their successful completion of the school year, recognized their achievements, and thanked their parents for raising these "young ambassadors" of knowledge and skills. The company's general director discussed plans to develop sports programs for NPP employees and their children, as well as the implementation of the project to create a modern nuclear energy information center in Ostrovets.
Belarusian NPP is the backbone of Ostrovets, but its influence extends throughout the country. When children see a world-class facility operating in their neighborhood, whose operation and safety are directly linked to their parents' work, it strengthens their sense of patriotism. They begin to understand that building a career and implementing large-scale projects doesn't require moving to the capital or abroad—the most advanced technologies can be literally "close to home."
