Among those present were Gennady Bychko, Chairman of the Ostrovets District Council of Deputies; Olga Boyarovich, Deputy Chair of Ostrovets District Executive Committee; a delegation from Belarusian NPP led by Director General Sergei Bobovich; Evgeny Salkov, Director General of Rosatom Service; Oksana Malafeeva, President of the New Opportunities Charitable Foundation and curator of the Rosatom School project; and Sergei Biratko, Director General of CJSC “BelAtomService”.
In his welcoming address, Sergei Bobovich, Director General of Belarusian NPP, warmly congratulated the teaching staff on their recent professional holiday. He emphasized that the implementation of significant projects like “AtomClasses” exemplifies partnerships that open up new prospects for training highly qualified personnel and developing the scientific potential of young people.
Particular attention was paid to the renovated "Atomclass" at Secondary School No. 3, which is now celebrating five years of successful operation. The school's students proudly presented their achievements, clearly demonstrating how modern learning environments facilitate deep immersion in the world of physics, robotics, chemistry, and other natural sciences. Their successes are a clear demonstration of the effectiveness and relevance of the "Atomclass" project.
The opening and renovation of “Atomclasses” is more than just a classroom upgrade. It's an investment in the future, creating conditions for developing talent and nurturing a new generation of engineers, scientists, and specialists capable of contributing to the development of nuclear energy and the entire country. Belarusian NPP, in close collaboration with “Rosatom”, continues to actively support educational initiatives, providing access to cutting-edge knowledge and technologies for Ostrovets youth.
