The competition is held annually to identify the best drivers of vehicles of the state enterprise "Belarusian NPP" who use the most effective methods of accident-free operation and comply with the norms and rules of labor protection and fire safety, and to improve their professional skills.
The competition was held in four stages, each of which required deep knowledge and honed practical skills from the participants.
The first stages were theoretical tests – testing knowledge in traffic regulations, labor protection and fire safety.
The next stage of the professional skills competition was a demonstration of skills in providing first aid to a victim. To ensure the objectivity of the assessment, the competition tasks were completed using a modern robotic simulator.
The most spectacular and intense stages were practical driving and extinguishing a vehicle fire after an accident.
On a specially equipped site, drivers in the categories of “passenger car”, “truck”, and “bus” performed the most complex maneuvers: a serpentine, a garage, diagonal parking, a tunnel, a circle, a large yard, and driving on a highway.
On the territory of the fire and emergency rescue unit, the participants of the competition task extinguished the flames at the site of the fire using a powder fire extinguisher.
Each stage was assessed by a strict panel of judges, which included managers and employees of the company's structural divisions, and experienced road safety specialists. When assigning points, the time spent completing the tasks was taken into account, and errors resulted in penalty points.
Based on the results of all stages, the winners of the competition were determined.
At the awards ceremony, the winners of the competition were presented with diplomas and souvenirs from the primary trade union organization. The management of the enterprise expressed gratitude to all participants for their professionalism and commitment to excellence, and to the organizers for the brilliant preparation and holding of the event.
The professional skills competition among drivers of the motor transport department of the state enterprise "Belarusian NPP" once again confirmed that the company's transport is driven by real professionals, for whom safety, precision and skill are not just words, but the main principles of work.
