Along with other enterprises and organizations of Ostrovets district, Belarusian NPP ensured that children's recreation at “Lastochka” was not only useful, but also pleasant and safe.
From early April to mid-May, workers in the enterprise's repair and construction shop were engaged in repairing one of the camp's dormitory buildings. Work was carried out to restore the facade finish, repair the walls, floors and ceilings of the dormitory building.
As the management of the Ostrovets Department of Education noted in a letter of thanks sent to Belarusian NPP, “thanks to the serious and qualified approach of the specialists of your organization, the work was performed at a high technical level, without any violations of labor protection standards and rules, which made it possible to complete the work efficiently and within the established deadline.”
Belarusian nuclear power plant not only provides energy to the region, but also actively participates in the development of the educational infrastructure of Ostrovets district. The cooperation of BelNPP with local educational institutions is systemic and includes a wide range of initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education, training future specialists, as well as decent conditions for full-fledged rest and health improvement of students.
