An addition has been made to the license of the state enterprise “Belarusian NPP”, which allows the start of industrial operation of power unit No. 2.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations was convinced that the limits and conditions of safe operation established by the plant design were confirmed and justified, and the decisions included in the operational and emergency documentation, met the safety requirements.
The issuance of a license to operate power unit No. 2 ends many years of work by all those interested in creating a modern nuclear and radiation safety infrastructure in our country.
