Particular attention was paid to the activity of the BelNPP educational and training center, which is arranged on the basis of best international practices and taking into account the requirements of international organizations, including the IAEA. More than 1.5 thousand specialists are trained here every year. The center uses about 160 computer-based training systems and a full-scale simulator operates, which is used to train operating personnel of the block control panel.
Representatives of Chinese nuclear corporations were told about current programs for training and advanced training of plant personnel, including as part of interaction with leading training centers in Russia.
Chinese experts highly appreciated the level of personnel training for Belarusian NPP. Interest was noted in sharing experience in this area.
“Since the BelNPP was built according to a new generation design, you initially set a high bar for others,” the head of the delegation, Zhao Xuan, shared his opinion.
