Seven people work at Belarusian nuclear power plant, whose fate was Afghanistan. On the eve of the memorable date, February 14, in a warm atmosphere, words of gratitude were addressed to the internationalist warriors.
“Time separates us from those terrible events, but we remember that the internationalist warriors accomplished a real feat, performing their duty far from relatives and friends. They are heroes, the pride of the country, and their boundless courage, devotion to duty, fortitude and courage are a worthy example for modern youth,” said Svetlana Shushkevich, head of the ideological work group.
The chairman of the primary trade union organization of the enterprise also expressed her gratitude and presented memorable gifts to the men.

On February 15, representatives of the BelNPP - participants in the events on the soil of Afghanistan took part in a meeting dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Internationalist Warriors and the 33rd anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from the Republic of Afghanistan, as well as in the ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers at the memorial sign to the internationalist warriors. The events were attended by leaders and representatives of local authorities, deputies, Afghan soldiers, representatives of enterprise teams and public organizations.
