The 9 teams of enterprises and organizations of Ostrovets region consisted exclusively of men. Volunteer fire brigades had to show their physical fitness, the ability to handle fire fighting stock and equipment in very difficult conditions of overcoming a 100-meter strip with obstacles, a fire relay, combat deployment from a motor pump.
The honor of Belarusian NPP was defended by fire fighters under the leadership of Sergei Zolov, the leading fire safety engineer of the safety control group of the technical inspection department.
According to the results of the competition, the team of the enterprise took three prizes. Two second in team and individual (Ruslan Malykhin) standings for overcoming a 100-meter obstacle course. And also, 3rd place in combat deployment from a motor pump. As a result - the 3rd team place in the nomination "The best volunteer fire brigade of Ostrovets region".
