Representatives of WANO studied the actions of changes in operating personnel of the block control panel on a full-scale simulator of the block control panel of the power unit in simulated situations with elements of normal operation, violations of normal operation and accidents. In addition, the implementation of 70 WANO Significant Operating Experience (SOER) Recommendations was assessed.
On the basis of observations, interviews and consideration of documentation, the experts did not identify any shortcomings that could become an obstacle to the safe start-up of the first power unit of Belarusian nuclear power plant.
The transfer of the final report to the management of the operating organization is planned at the end of 2020.
