Within the framework of the “hot run-in of the reactor installation” phase, the first power unit of Belarusian NPP carried out comprehensive tests of technological safety systems with simulated primary coolant leakage, as well as comprehensive testing of the auxiliary power supply system during short-term power interruptions, including in the mode of complete blackout of the unit.
During complex tests, the automatic launch of all four diesel generator sets of the emergency power supply system and one diesel generator normal power supply system was checked. A functional check of the emergency system mechanisms of all four safety channels was also performed.
Equipment testing works are carried out in accordance with the technological regulations.
