The delegation of the Republic of Belarus takes part in the 63rd session of the IAEA General Conference

On September 16, 2019, the 63rd session of the IAEA General Conference opened at Vienna International Center. The forum is attended by a delegation of the Republic of Belarus, headed by Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Mikhaduk. The delegation includes representatives of the Gosatomnadzor of the Ministry of Emergencies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and State Institution "Joint Institute for Energy and Nuclear Research - Sosny" of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, of state enterprise "Belarusian NPP".

The delegation of the Republic of Belarus takes part in the 63rd session of the IAEA General Conference

The IAEA General Conference will run until September 20, 2019.  During plenary sessions and thematic sections, topical issues of the current state and challenges for the future of global nuclear energy will be discussed: nuclear and radiation safety; nuclear security; strengthening the Agency's technical cooperation activities and others.

On all days of the general conference, the stand of the Republic of Belarus will be presented at the IAEA headquarters, which will inform the forum participants about the readiness of the national nuclear infrastructure for the operation of Belarusian NPP.
