The participants of the competition are photographers and photojournalists from Belarus, Bangladesh, Hungary, India and Egypt. The international jury of photojournalism contest reviewed more than one hundred photographs in the nominations “Energy of the Future”, “People”, “Cities”, and “Wildlife”, determining the TOP-24 photos. The photo “Waiting for Heat” by the specialist of the information center of Belarusian NPP Sergey Sevko is among the best works.
According to the organizers, the photo exhibition “ASE: people, nature, technology” is a palette of episodes and fragments of life of different countries and peoples united by proximity to nuclear power plants of ASE. In each photo there is an atom of energy, an atom of life, an atom of progress. A kaleidoscope of photographs in different genres and styles offers to make a fascinating journey through the most unusual corners of the globe and see what, at times, eludes people who are always in a hurry, escapes. People, nature, high technology and progress not only perfectly coexist, but also form an amazing harmony - the basis of life on Earth.
The exhibition features 24 photographs, which received the largest number of votes from the jury of the International Photojournalism Contest ASE International Photo Awards. The competition was attended by both single photos and a series of works, as well as photos taken on mobile devices.
