On May 12-17 2019, the Conference of Directors of the Moscow Center of the World Association of Operators of Nuclear Power Plants (WANO-MC), as well as the General Meeting and the Board of Management Associations was held in Minsk. The conference was attended by representatives of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, India, Hungary, Iran, Egypt, Britain, Turkey and other countries

Work permit
The Department of Nuclear and Radiation Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (Gosatomnadzor) continues to issue permits to the personnel of Belarusian NPP for the right to conduct work in the implementation of activities on the use of atomic energy.

Polish Minister of Energy Krzysztof Tkhezewski reported on the preparation for the construction of a nuclear power plant in Pomerania. On the air of Polish Radio, the minister said that the local community was being consulted on this issue.
