Information to Hungarian specialists was presented in a wide range of areas: safety issues, work with project documentation, qualifications of domestic suppliers, NPP relations with local authorities and public organizations and others were discussed.
The delegation also got acquainted with the work of the training center (TC), where specialists for Belarusian NPP are trained. The main object of the TC is a full-scale simulator of the control unit of the power unit, which ensures high-quality and effective training and maintaining the qualifications of all specialists of a future nuclear power plant - from an ordinary operator to the NPP general director.
«Belarusian colleagues shared with us information that will be very useful to us during the implementation of the Paks-2 project. We were very impressed by the course of construction and the scale of construction of Belarusian NPP. Our cooperation with Belarusian colleagues will continue. I am sure that such visits and exchange of experience not only help the two parties, but generally contribute to improving the quality of the implementation of nuclear projects at the international level. Openness of the processes and unification of efforts of all stakeholders will contribute to increasing the safety of nuclear energy», — the Secretary General of the Hungarian Atomic Forum Laszlo Tsiboya commented on the results of the visit.
