The Minister stressed that an MES unit, located near the NPP under construction, is constantly training and it has proved itself well in the exercises that took place last year. "I believe that we are on the right track and our station will be the safest, there is no doubt about that," Vladimir Vashchenko noted.
He said that the MES departments are working hard now. "The biggest load is today on the Department for Nuclear and Radiation Safety, where a lot of work has been done. And you see that lately the passions of our neighbors have calmed down - all these statements about some insecurity were completely groundless. After all, we are building the nuclear station for ourselves and, first of all, are interested in its security," - Vladimir Vashchenko stressed.
