The 8th meeting of Belarusian-Hungarian expert group on nuclear energy is taking place at Belarusian NPP

The eighth meeting of Belarusian-Hungarian expert group on nuclear energy cooperation has begun at Belarusian NPP. The working visit by representatives of  Hungarian company “Nuclear Power Plant “Paks-2”, which will last from October 7 to 9, is being carried out under the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Belarus and LLC “Nuclear Power Plant “Paks-2”.

Opening the meeting, Sergei Bobovich, Director General of Belarusian NPP, expressed confidence in continued fruitful cooperation with Hungarian side and the exchange of positive practices in the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. 

The meeting agenda includes issues related to Belarusian NPP's experience in environmental protection, safety, and occupational health and safety, gained during the construction of the nuclear power plant. Specialists from Belarusian NPP's Capital Construction Department, Occupational Health and Safety Department, and Environmental Protection Department, as well as their colleagues from Paks-2, are participating in the meeting.
