Another shift of students from Technopark visited Belarusian NPP

Written by Department of information and public relations

Many of the young talents are not at the nuclear power plant for the first time, but the interest of young people in nuclear energy is not fading, but only growing.

Students of the technology park visited key facilities of Belarusian NPP: the training center, the central control panel, the turbine hall, the building housing the equipment of the 330 kV gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), which is part of the general plant electrical equipment and is involved in the power distribution scheme of the power unit.

At each site, the children were met by specialists who spoke in detail about their work and equipment.

The visit to Belarusian NPP ended with a meeting with Deputy Director General for Quality Alexander Erin. The young people shared their positive impressions of the excursion and asked Alexander a number of interesting questions about the specifics of working at the nuclear power plant.
