The State Nuclear Supervision Authority employees visited Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant

On July 30, Alexander Ivanitsky, Head of the Department of Nuclear and Radiation Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and representatives of the State Nuclear Supervision Authority paid a working visit to Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant.

The State Nuclear Supervision Authority employees were met by the plant's management, led by Sergei Bobovich, Director General of Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant, who presented a brief overview of the nuclear industry's strategic development, emphasizing the importance of high nuclear power plant safety standards. 

Oleg Zhenov, Deputy Chief Engineer for Personnel Training and Head of the Training Center, demonstrated practical training on a full-scale control panel simulator.

Representatives of the State Nuclear Supervision Authority then continued their work at the industrial site, visiting the central and block control panels, and the turbine hall of power unit No. 1.
