Written by Department of information and public relations

On January 15, students from the National Children's Technopark took a tour of Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant. This event will help young talents choose their future professions and inspire them to make new achievements in science, engineering, and technology.

A group of students from January educational shift in the "Energy of the Future" and "Engineering Ecology" programs, along with faculty from  Belarusian National Technical University, had a unique opportunity to see the operation of the NPP from the inside and learn about the principles of nuclear energy.

The students studied the operation of the central and block control panels, the switchgear of Belarusian NPP – the 330 kV switchgear, and the spray ponds of the power unit.
